Receipts

In 2005 total receipts from international visits amounted to 6 230 mill USD,
of which 3 330 mill came from tourists and the rest – from same-day visitors.

Analysing the total amount and its growth (by 7.7%, as calculated in USD) you've got to consider changes in exchange rates: USD in relation to local currency (PLN) went down by 11.5%.

The good news is that the share of receipts generated by tourists grew (from 50.2% to 53.5%).
