Domestic and outbound tourist trips in the first half of 2007
1. Number of trips
In the first half of 2007 polish residents took 14.05 mill domestic tourist trips, of which 5.45 mill were long trips (4 nights of longer), and 8.6 mill – short breaks. The number of long trips grew by 7%, while short breaks decreased. In sum, total number of domestic trips dropped a little, compared to the same period of 2006.
Number of outbound tourist trips stayed at 2,6 mill. Most visited countries were: Germany, United Kingdom, France, Czech Rep., The Netherlands, Austria and Ukraine.
